We went to see the Sox play the Orioles at Fenway last night. Sam’s mom won the tickets from a raffle at work. 
The seats were unbelievable! We were literally in the front row just to the right of the Sox’s dug out. The only people in front of us were the photographers!
Joe West was the first base umpire. Apparently he’s a bit of celebrity. Some dudes behind us were screaming his name pretty much the entire game. I googled him just now and it turns out he’s also a musician and goes by the name of Cowboy Joe West. Here’s a quick sample, Diamond Dreams by Cowboy Joe West.
